Our client , a leading cable company with over 30 years in the industry, is looking for a dynamic personality to join them for this challenging role.
The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Conduct customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed. Manage nationwide sales, marketing, advertising and promotional staff and all relevant activities.
Ensuring the development and implementation of a clear strategic sales and marketing plan.
Responsible for Marketing and Sales and works through Area Sales Managers and Regional Managers to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand objectives.
Plan and administer the company’s sales and marketing budget and keep cost in control.
Facilitate and coordinate all organizational functions required to support the achievement of monthly sales targets such as production planning, raw material ordering and deliveries.
Build and develop a sales and marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and efficient.
Keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability.
Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account. management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy.
Periodically review distributor performance through Regional Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and immediate actionable steps to close the gaps.
Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market share.
Conduct regular meeting with distributors and sales team to discuss target status, product training and sales strategy.
Coordinate, prepare and launch new products for the assigned market(s) with operation of the respective sales department in the respective regions.
Coordinate with costing, finance and factory departments to ensure timely orders, and smooth function of action in the system.
Monitor daily sales target achievement and develop and implement necessary strategies and action plans to ensure that monthly sales targets are met.
BSc in Marketing (an MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage).
Minimum 8 years of sales and marketing experience in hardware organizations.
2 years experience at General Manager level or 5 years experiences as a marketing manager.
Strategic Thinking, Good Leadership, Strong Analytical Skills.
Excellent Inter-personal Skills and ability to manage an existing team.
Flexible and open to changes and able to manage multiple tasks in restricted timeframes.
Self-starter with hands-on approach.
Be able to take critical decisions and handle stress.
