Vacancy for Sales Manager – Inbound

Our client , a Belgian construction company that is introducing a better, faster & cheaper way to build houses in Sri Lanka, by revolutionizing the way custom built homes are configured, is on the lookout for the right fit to join their team.

  • Guide the Inbound sales team to respond positively and follow up with all the leads generated and convert them as sales.
  • Proper Management of Inbound sales team and ensure they gather and continuously follow up with all the incoming queries.
  • Drive the sales team to cascade information to designated customers on features and benefits of available products/services.
  • Identifies and follows up on significant business opportunities, pinpoints existing and/or potential problems and arranges for resolution.
  • Delivers periodical business reviews and actively participates in development of business growth and sales support plans for designated customers.
  • Regularly and pro-actively informs back-office (including, marketing, technical, logistics and finance) about required sales support level and coordinates actions.
  • Systematically up-dates customers’ databases with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information.
  • Develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present and consult with management on trends with a view to developing services and products.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure accuracy of data.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
  • Degree in Marketing/Engineering with 5-7 years’ experience in Sales, in fast-paced marketing environment, either in marketing agency or corporate environment. Experience in Construction, Retail Banking, Call Centre Management is a definite advantage.
  • Applicants must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly. They must be able to handle everyday situations quickly and effectively.
